Although not wealthy, I'm very lucky to have been born into a normal middle class family. I feel it is important for us as a society to donate our time, expertise and money to those less fortunate than us, and to organizations that can improve our society.

Some of the organizations I'm currently involved in:

Franciscan Outreach Association: They house, clothe, feed and provide social services for our most needy. FOA can be found at www.franoutreach.org

American Cancer Society: The American Cancer Society is dedicated to eliminating cancer as a major health problem by preventing cancer, saving lives, and diminishing suffering through research, education, advocacy and service.  www.cancer.org

Relay For Life: Relay For Life is a fun-filled overnight event designed to celebrate survivorship and raise money for research and programs of your American Cancer Society. During the event, teams of people gather at schools, fairgrounds, or parks and take turns walking or running laps.

GreenMan Theatre Troupe: GreenMan is a Non-Profit Community Theater group working in the Western Chicago Suburbs. They produce a 3 show season, as well as workshops and various other theater related projects. Support you local theater! Greenman can be found at: http://www.greenmantheatre.com/

Steel Beam Theatre: Steel Beam Theatre is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to bringing high quality theatrical entertainment, training and arts awareness to the Fox Valley community at an affordable price.

Wheaton Drama: Wheaton Drama is a charitable organization dedicated to improving the cultural life in the community by providing quality theater since 1931.
